Selling in the EU? Proper PDF Invoices, Built In.

A business buyer in Lyon asks for an invoice with your VAT number on it. Your store sent a receipt email. Now you are typing one up by hand.

WP EasyCart PRO attaches a proper invoice PDF to your order emails, and every part an EU invoice needs has its own switch.

Fill in Business details once: your registered business name, address and VAT number, printed at the top of every PDF. Turn on Customer VAT number and the number your buyer gave at checkout prints too, so they can reclaim the VAT. Paper size set to Automatic gives Europe A4 and North America US Letter. The PDF wording comes in French, German, Spanish, Dutch and more.

Numbered. Issued. Untouched.

Switch on Give invoices their own numbers and each order gets one invoice number from its own sequence, in your format: INV-{year}-{number} by default, padded with zeros, restarting every January if you like. Set Next number to carry on from your old system. Once issued, the PDF is kept exactly as it went out. Edit the order later and the invoice you sent stays the same.

Refund an invoiced order and Issue a credit note for refunds creates its own numbered credit note, linked to the invoice it corrects. The File name pattern puts the order or invoice number in every attachment, so your accountant’s folder makes sense. Email me a sample PDF shows you the result before customers see it.
