Delivery apps take a cut of every order and keep the customer’s email. Your own website takes nothing and keeps everything. The catch has always been the ordering itself: a pizza is not a T-shirt. It has to be ready at a time, and that time depends on when you are open and how busy the kitchen is.

WP EasyCart PRO has a product behaviour called Restaurant for Pickup. Switch it on for a product and the checkout asks one question: ASAP or later? ASAP gives the shopper a time your expected preparation time ahead, 30 minutes by default, adjustable from 5 to 90. Later shows the times you are still open today, in the slot interval you choose, from 5 to 60 minutes. Closed days and holidays are simply not offered.
Your hours. Your holidays. Set once.
The times come from Settings › Schedule & locations. Seven weekly rows, each with an Opens at and Closes at for restaurant orders, plus holidays that replace a day’s hours on that date only. Selling pies for Thanksgiving? The same screen has a Preorder for Pickup mode with an ordering window and a pickup date. More than one kitchen? Add locations and let shoppers pick the nearest.
Orders arrive with the pickup time on them, sit together under the Pickup filter on the orders list, and move from Ready for pickup to Picked up. No carrier, no tracking number, no shipping email. Add a note like “collect at the side door” and it shows next to the pickup choice.
Where: WP Admin › EasyCart › Settings › Checkout › Pickup scheduling, and Settings › Schedule & locations. Plan: PRO or Premium. Read the restaurant ordering guide, which walks through a coffee shop example from schedule to first test order.
