New: Credit Notes and Refunds That Add Up.

A customer sends one of three items back. You refund it in the gateway, edit the invoice by hand, fix the stock, and hope your accountant never asks which number went where.

WP EasyCart PRO does it from one drawer. Press Refund on the order, tick the lines that are going back and lower the quantity if only some units are. Refund tax (prorated to selected items) works out the tax share. Shipping and fees have lines of their own. Restock item puts the goods back on the shelf, and Available to refund stops you refunding more than was paid. Paid in two parts? The refund comes back from each payment, newest first.

Turn on Issue a credit note for refunds and every refund on an invoiced order creates a numbered credit note for exactly what went back. It has its own sequence, starting as CN-{year}-{number}, and its own look. The original invoice is never changed, so the paper trail stays clean.

The order’s Invoice & PO card lists each credit note with its number, date, amount and a PDF. The status moves to Partial Refund or Refunded Order on its own, the timeline records the reason, and one tick emails the customer.
