QuickBooks Desktop, Synced. No More Typing Orders In.

Your books live in QuickBooks Desktop. Your sales live on your website. Somebody spends Friday afternoon retyping one into the other.

The QuickBooks Desktop extension, rebuilt for 6.0, closes the gap. Paid orders go to QuickBooks as sales receipts, or as invoices and payments if you prefer. Customers, products and refunds follow. Each order carries its shipping, fees, tips, discounts and tax as their own lines, and an order number suffix (1042 becomes 1042-W) keeps store sales apart from the ones you enter by hand.

It works through Intuit’s free QuickBooks Web Connector on your QuickBooks computer. Download the .qwc file, paste the password from the Copy button, press Import lists and pick your accounts, items and payment methods from real QuickBooks dropdowns. Tick Auto-Run and it runs every ten minutes while QuickBooks is open.

Computer off for the weekend? Nothing is lost. Changes wait in the queue and go on the next run, customers and products before the orders that need them. The Sync page shows what is Waiting, Failed or Sent, in plain words, with a Send again button once you fix it. Sales tax can even map state by state, and each card brand gets its own payment method.
