New: QuickBooks Online. Every Order in Your Books, Automatically.

Every sale on your site becomes a second job: copy it into QuickBooks, match the payment, remember the refund. Miss one and month end goes sideways.

The new QuickBooks Online extension ends the copying. A paid order becomes a sales receipt. An unpaid one becomes an invoice, with its payment added once it comes in. Refunds go as refund receipts. Your products arrive as QuickBooks items, matched by SKU, so reports show sales by product, and each order carries the exact tax it charged.

Connect. Check. Switch on.

Press Connect to QuickBooks, sign in on Intuit’s own page and pick your company. The store never sees your Intuit password. The extension then suggests accounts, items and tax settings from your own company. Look them over, switch on Send orders to QuickBooks, and orders from that day on go by themselves, in the background, usually within a minute. Older orders go only when you send them from Tools.

Money lands where it belongs. Choose the account for Stripe, Square and PayPal payouts, so each deposit matches your bank statement. And it works both ways: when a customer pays an invoice in QuickBooks, the order is marked paid in your store and the customer gets their receipt.

Testing on a staging copy? It never sends. Each order screen shows a QuickBooks Online card with every document linked, and Activity lists what went and why anything is held.
